Join Nagarkot Chisapani trek to experience the best short trek in Kathmandu Valley.   The Sherpa Way is operating 6days Chisapani Nagarkot Trek package throughout the year. We will head north from Kathmandu and take an hour long drive to reach to Sundarijal from where Nagarkot Chisapani trek begins. Chisapani Nagarkot trekking route continues through Shivpuri Conservation Area to Gurung village of Chisapani. We will take brief rest at Chisapani and get to know the ways of living of the locals before heading to Nagarkot. The famous hill station of Nagarkot is famous for its best sunrise view over Mount Everest and striking views of other mountains and peaks. We will return back from Nagarkot and reach to UNESCO enlisted site of Changunarayan Temple that was built in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma. From Changunarayan, we will drive back to Kathmandu.
Nagarkot Chisapani trekking is the combination of bird watching tour, cultural tour and sightseeing tour. Nagarkot Chisapani treks is also significant from the view of photography. Nagarkot Chisapani trek cost is nominal as compared to other similar trekking packages.

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu:
You will meet the representative from ‘The Sherpa Way’ in Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu. He will receive you and take you through the bustling streets of Kathmandu to the hotel. You will be briefly explained about your trekking package in hotel.

Day02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
You will be taken for the guided city tour of UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage sites. Journey begins with visit to Pashupatinath and continues through Bouddhanath to Swayambhunath. We will also explore Kathmandu Durbar Square before returning back to hotel.

Day03: Drive to Sundarijal (1hr), Trek to Chisapani:
The scenic Sundarijal exists 15km to the north of Kathmandu. About an hour of drive from Kathmandu will take us to Sundarijal. Trekking begins with the uphill climb via stone steps which takes us along the hydroelectric plant to Shivpuri Watershed and wildlife reserve. We will move in and out of Mulkharka which is the Tamang village. We will climb to the ridge and enjoy beautiful Kathmandu valley view. We will descend through forest to Chisapani 2300m).          

Day04: Trek to Nagarkot:
It takes six hours of trek to reach Nagarkot from Chisapani. The trail continues through the forest that is fit for bird watching. We will arrive at Jhule. After brief rest, we will make it to Chauki Bhanjyang. We will walk through terraced fields of scattered settlements of Kattike Bhanjyang which takes us further to Nagarkot. 

Day05: Trek to Changunarayan, Drive back to Kathmandu:
Nagarkot is the famous hill station near from Kathmandu that gives spectacular sunrise view over Mt. Everest. Nagarkot is also popular for the views of spectacular snow-clad mountains like Dhaulagiri, Mount Everest and Kanchenjunga. After an early breakfast, we will begin our trek to Changunarayan which will take about 3hrs. Changunarayan is the UNESCO enlisted cultural heritage that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the protector God. From Changunarayan, we will return back to Kathmandu.    

Day06: Departure:
You will be assisted in last moment preparation and then taken to Tribhuvan International Airport. We hope you will make your next visit in Nepal soon.
